Dr. Mendiola Elementary Parental Involvement Program 2025-2026
Dr. Mendiola Elementary is committed to the belief that each student can reach his/her highest potential for intellect, emotional and physical growth. To reach these goals a partnership is needed among parents, students, teachers and administrators. Together we will create a positive, safe, and drug free learning environment and agree to the following.

- Respect and value all student and parents and offer a safe and welcoming learning environment.
- Change and enhance my instruction in a way that it will motivate and encourage my students to want to learn and prepare them for the future.
- Keep positive communication with all students.
- Contact parents as needed for concerning grades, absences, changes in the student’s behavior, missing schoolwork and/or homework, supplies and missing books.
- Provide information on meeting, parent conferences, via mail, email, and text regarding academics aid bilingually for all parents to understand.
- Get parents help to work together.
- Make sure I attend school every day.

- Make sure I check if my child has homework every day and help my child with homework.
- Make sure my child goes to school every day.
- Have good communication with my child’s teachers.
- Make sure my child goes to bed early.
