This week at Mendiola Elementary students powered up in the library by using Green Screen Ink app to create a “Say No to Cyber Bullying” video. Students Josue Salazar, 5th grade, and Lisandro Casas, 3rd grade, joined forces to deliver this important message to all Mendiola students.

Kicking off “National Coffee with a Cop” day.

The Kids Against Drugs Club members at Dr. Palmira Mendiola Elementary invited Officer Pena to join them for coffee and donuts. The Kids Against Drugs club members thanked Officer Pena for her continued dedication and protection to all students at Dr. Palmira Mendiola Elementary and to La Joya ISD.
